Lecanora symmicta Growth type crustose Chemical results: K-, C+/- orange, KC+/- weak yellow, P-, UV+ dull orange Common on acid-barked trees, wood and worked timber and as a pioneer species on rough-barked twigs. The granular or aureolate thallus is usually pale yellow-green but can be whitish or grey-green. Apothecia are dispersed or clustered, the discs flat or convex, cream, pinkish, pale orange or brown with entire but soon excluded margins. Microscope photo below. Similar: L. confusa.
