Small patches of greyish-green granular, areolate thallus. Apothecia small, greenish-yellow to buff with +/- crenulate margins. Soredia are absent. Similar: Lecanora conizaeoides K+/- weak yellow, C-, P+ orange > red and L. symmicta K-, C+/- orange, KC+/- weak yellow, P-, UV+ dull orange
