Unknown family Endococcus ramalinarius Growth type lichenicolous Photographs on Ramalina fastigiata on Betula Parasitic on the thallus and ascomata of Ramalina species including Ramalina farinacea and Ramalina fastigiata Brown or black perithecia are immersed or partially erumpent, the peridial wall darkish brown, K+ dark greenish brown. Asci 8-spored, the spores brown, 1-septate, 10-13 x 4-4.5 µm. Ends are rounded, lower cell sometimes slightly attenuated. Micrographs below.
