BLS conservation evaluation: LC NR Chemical results: K- (or very weak) Common and widespread on limestone, both in natural habitats and on churchyard memorials but probably under-recorded The thallus is endolithic or partly epilithic, whitish, grey or cream, the orange apothecia +/- strongly convex when mature. The spores are ellipsoidal, 12-16 x 6.5-8 µm, hypothecium often violet.
