Lecanora soralifera Growth type crustose Chemical results: K-, C-, KC+ yellow, P-, UV+ dull orange Occurs on siliceous walls and rocks, rarely on wood and timber. Thallus is greyish or yellow-green, areolate or subsquamulose and dispersed. Abundant pale yellowish soralia are produced from centre of squamules, usually circular but can become confluent and spread over much of thallus. Apothecia brownish-green with excluded margins but are usually absent. Similar: Lecanora handelii on metal-rich rock. L. jamesii on wood |
