Paralecanographa grumulosa (Lecanographa grumulosa) Growth type crustose Chemistry: K-, P-, UV-. Thallus and apothecial pruina C+ orange to red Usually coastal, infrequent on shaded basic rocks and mortar and on the north walls of old churches. Sometimes parasitic on Dirina massiliensis BLS conservation evaluation: LC NS Thick, cracked, pale grey or brownishish thallus with a black prothallus. Apothecia are initially immersed, black discs with grey pruina and a persistent margin. Spores 3-5 septate, 12-17 x 3-5 µm. Microscope photographs below. |
