Cladonia rei Identification by Neil Sanderson Thallus P+ yellow-orange (slow) or K-, C-, KC-, P-, UV +/- white Found on acidic heaths and wasteland and in woodland Podetia drab green-brown, often contorted, sometimes branched with farinose or coarsely granular-soredia. Sometimes minute squamules present, the corticate area near base sometimes +/- extending to apices. Occasional syphi with terete marginal extensions. Similar: Cladonia subulata and C. glauca |
