Ramalina farinacea Growth type fruticose.Chemical results: Medulla, soralia K-. Occasionally K+ yellow turning red Common on nutrient-rich bark of trees and shrubs. Tufted or shrubby, pale grey-greenish thallus with narrow, strap-like, flattened lobes. The margins of the lobes develop oval or disc-shaped soralia. Apothecia are very rare (photograph below).
