 Ramalina lacera Growth type fruticose Chemical reactions negative. UV- Nutrient-rich bark, also frequent on sheltered coastal walls and rocks Can be very variable. Solid thallus with one or more ragged, flattened, +/- solid lobes, the cortex often peeling. Surface and edges of lobes sorediate, apothecia unknown. Similar: Ramalina canariensis has a hollow thallus and apical soralia  |
