Larvae in spun webs on Ragwort, Senecio and in flowerheads of Sea Mayweed, Tripleurospermum maritimum and Golden Samphire, Inula crithmoides Larvae of Homeosoma nimbella are similar but so far have only been reared from Sheep's-bit (Jasione montana)
