Lecanora intricata Growth type crustose Chemical results: K +/- pale yellow, C-, KC+ yellow, P-, UV +/- dull orange Widespread, usually found on siliceous rocks and walls, occasional on worked timber Well-developed yellowish-green or greyish, areolate thallus with one or several immersed apothecia in each areole. Discs green, green-brown or greenish-black, the margins initially entire and slightly raised before becoming flexose and excluded. Spores (8-)10-14(-15) x (4.5-)5-7 µm. Similar: Lecanora polytropa. Thallus of scattered areoles, discs pale yellow to pale yellowish-green (never black) |
