Primary thallus leprose / granular, secondary thallus pseudopodetiate
Chemical reactions negative

Found on thin soil at the base of dry cliffs and sandstone walls and in dry crevices associated with cliff faces.

The primary thallus is a soft, bluish-green leprose-granular crust, the inside white. The secondary thallus is of white +/- erect pseudopodetia 2-4mm tall. Both primary and secondary thalli are covered in numerous small granules. Apothecia are unknown.
