Megalaria pulverea Growth type crustose Chemistry: K+ yellow, usually P+ red, sometimes faint yellow or P-, UV- Usually among moss on trunks of oak, ash and willow in old, damp woodland. Rare on mossy rocks and calluna stems. Greyish granular thallus with greyish-green or slightly yellowish soralia. Apothecia rare, black or brownish with paler margins. Pycnidia absent.
