Cladonia verticillata Identification by Neil Sanderson Chemical results: Thallus K-, C-, KC-, P+ red, UV- Widespread, can be locally common on spoil heaps, in drystone walls and rocky crevices and on drier heaths. Basal squamules entire or with shallow, rounded lobes, white below, upper surfaces bluish-grey when fresh.
