Cladonia rangiformis Chemical results: K+ pale yellow, C-, KC-, usually P-, UV- Can be common on basic or neutral lowland grasslands, coastal cliff tops and dunes. The wide-branched podetia are white and covered with green islets of algae. Podetia with pointed tips, the axils usually closed. Pycnidia frequent, brown apothecia rare. Sometimes host to Diploschistes muscorum # Similar: Cladonia furcata |
