 Lecanographa lyncea Growth type crustose Chemical results: K-, C-, KC-, P-. UV+ ice-blue Dry, +/- well-lit bark of old and ancient Oaks, often below large branches. BLS conservation evaluation: LC Sc IR. NIEC 'Old woodland' indicator Thick white thallus, the surface smooth or granulose. Apothecia frequent, the discs +/- whitish to grey-brown pruinose. Spores are 7-8 septate. Often found with Arthonia pruinata (apothecial pruina C+ red)  |
