 Cynips disticha Agamic gall on Quercus, Oak Hosts: Agamic generation on Quercus coccifera, ilex, lusitanica, petraea, pubescens, robur, suber Sexual generation on Quercus petraea, pubescens, robur Agamic: +/- flat-topped gall with thin, hard walls containing two chambers. Larva in lower chamber, pupating in gall. Galls occupied June-September. Sexual: thin-walled, unilocular galls, 3-5mm, yellowish becoming brown, finely pubescent without ridges. On leaf margin at end of midrib or vein.  |
