Diptera: Cecidomyiidae - gall midge
 Diodaulus linariae Gall on Linaria vulgaris, Common Toadflax Hosts: Linaria purpurea, vulgaris Artichoke gall formed of tufts of leaves at tip of shoots. Two generations a year, the solitary whitish larvae pupatingin the gall in summer and in the soil in winter. D. traili forms small reddsh galls in flower buds of Pimpinella saxifraga  |
