Acari: Eriophyoidea - gall mite
 Eriophyes exilis Photographs on Tilia cordata, Small-leaved Lime Hosts: Tilia cordata, x europaea, platyphyllos, tomentosa Redfern & Shirley (2011): Forms a raised hairy bump (2-3mm) in the angle of the veins on the upperside of the leaf with a hairy swelling below. According to Bladmineerders.nl E. exilis occurs in several different forms, including the patches of erineum sometimes known as E. leiosoma It is possible these different forms are all sub-species of Eriophyes tiliae  |
