 Autumn Gentian Gentianella amarella Flowering time: July-September. Annual or biennial. Habitat: Calcareous grassland and dunes. Erect tubular flowers with four or five purplish corolla-lobes, the calyx lobes narrow and not overlapping. Corolla 14-18mm. Rosette of oval-lanceolate basal leaves, the stem leaves in pairs.
