Knotted Clover Trifolium striatum Flowering time: May-July. Annual. Native Found on open, well-drained infertile soils on grasslands, banks and verges. Grows on acidic, neutral and calcareous ground Oval, unstalked flowerheads bearing pinkish flowers with a downy, inflated, red-ribbed calyx, the teeth erect when fruiting.
