 Cowslip Primula veris Flowering time: April-May. Perennial. Native Occurs on well-drained basic or calcareous soils on grasslands, among scrub, at woodland edges and on cliffs. Drooping umbels of apricot-scented yellow flowers on tall, upright flower stems. The flowers have orange streaks inside the corollas. The pale-green leaves are stalked and wrinkled.
