 Wild Marjoram Origanum vulgare Flowering time: July - September. Perennial Grows on infertile grasslands, scrub and quarries on dry, calcareous soils. Common in southern half of England, less frequent in Scotland and Ireland. A pleasantly aromatic plant with clusters of pinkish-purple flowers with darker buds. Erect stems with stalked, +/- toothed, slightly hairy leaves. Height 30-60cm  |
