 Common Cudweed Filago germanica (Filago vulgaris) Flowering time: July-September. Annual. Native Declining on dry, open, acidic to neutral soils on heathy grassland, roadsides, arable and waste ground and in quarries and sand dunes. Stems are +/- branched at base bearing dense, terminal flowerheads with linear, five-rowed, keeled bracts. The linear leaves are wavy-edged and white-woolly without a mucronate point at their tips.
